Well then...

One down, four to go. For this week, anyway. You can get all the details from LJ user HoTarU676 she has all the details. I'm too lazy to put them all on here. Just know I got a lot of attention because my sandwich (turkey and pickle, I know, weird combination) because Mom had to put it by an ice pack, causing it to stink. Tasted really good, but smelled bad. Everyone was all "What smells like tuna?" Jonathan said "I smell salad." and stared at my sandwich. Heh. One of our band directors dyed his hair flame red and orange on top, and the freshmen aren't as annoying as I thought they would be. That's a good sign.

Oh, and I'm the only sophomore flute in Symphonic Band. No freshman flutes, either. One junior. The rest are seniors. That rocks.

There are a lot of people who quit, too. Not as many old faces as I had hoped to see. Oh well. This year seems like it should be a good year.

I also made a friend! HE plays piccolo, like me. Yes, a he. I think that's awesome, though, since he's not afraid to play a girly instrument like most guys are. Most guys would be afraid that they'd be made fun of, but this guy has shown to us that he's not a pussy like most other guys in band. Kinda like Bethany who plays trombone. Most girls wouldn't like to play some kind of instrument because it's too boyish, and would be afraid to play an instrument like that in fear of being made fun of a lot. I admire people who don't care what other people say about the instrument they play.




I fell asleep today at 6 PM because I was so exhausted from camp, and woke up this morning at 1:46 AM. Took a shower, got ready for camp again. Joked around with some of Jonathan's friends, put clothes to wash. Fun fun. It is now 6:28 AM as I write this. I have no idea of how this is going to affect me in a few hours. I'm supposed to wake up in a half hour. Mom doesn't know I woke up so early. Heh.



Anyway...... some people began commenting in my earlier posts. Go into my archive (yes, do it now) and check out the post from May 12, 2005 to see what I'm talking about. I made a HUGE comment. ^^; Took me a few days to write it all, actually.



Nick left today. It was fun having him around, I really missed him, but I didn't have a chance to say good-bye. He left when I was at Band Camp today. Grrness.



Not much else is going on over here... except that I'm still trying to fix up MySpace. I need to add Arcane Theory and And Also With You onto my friends list, too. Anyone else? Let me know!
